JBL designed the Club Series 122SL 12" subwoofer for versatility. Its low-profile design allows it to fit into shallow enclosures, and its selectable impedance gives you flexibility in configuring your system. Using a proprietary cone design and high roll surrounds, Club Series subwoofers are extremely efficient and require less power to deliver the goods. The JBL CLUB subwoofers deliver powerful, punchy and accurate bass. They also feature SSI™ (Selectable Smart Impedance), an exclusive impedance switch that lets you select the optimum impedance, 2 or 4 ohms for your chosen amplifier and overall system layout.
